The Westwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps has hundreds of famous retirees.

Volunteers join for many different reasons.

     *Some are looking for a career change.

     *Some are interested in giving giving back to the community.

     *Others are trying to find their passion in life.

Matthew is an Associate at Hoyt & Hoyt, PC in Morristown , NJ .  He practiced as an EMT and Paramedic in New Jersey , South Carolina and Ohio for 20 years, holding the positions of Deputy Commissioner of EMS in Cleveland , Ohio and Director of Disaster Preparedness at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland .  He is an author and lecturer, having written several paramedic textbook chapters and numerous articles and columns, as well as being a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of EMS Magazine.
